Peanut Butter Cookies

We made Peanut Butter Cookies today and they were so good, we thought we would share the recipe.


1/2 cup (or 1 stick) butter
3/4 cup peanut butter
1 1/4 cup brown sugar
3 Tablespoons milk
1 Tablespoon vanilla
1 egg
1 3/4 cup flour
3/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 teaspoon baking soda


Let butter warm to room temperature. Add peanut butter, brown sugar, milk, vanilla and egg. Beat until well blended. Add flour, salt and baking soda. Beat until all ingredients are mixed together. Roll dough into balls about the size of a large marble. Place on an ungreased cookie sheet and mash criss-cross with a fork dipped in sugar. Bake at 375 degrees for approximately 10 minutes.
